Policies and Information in relation to managing school in light of the Covid-19 pandemic
Children of Key Workers and identified vulnerable pupils have continued to attend school throughout the lockdown period. The childcare provision put in place for these pupils from 23rd March was provided at St Michael's Academy.
In order to reopen All Saints to a wider number of pupils from June 1st 2020 a thorough risk assessment has taken place. This risk assessment was completed after consultation with staff, Governors, other local schools and the Local Authority. Our Governing Body approved the risk assessment prior to the school reopening to more pupils from Wednesday 3rd June 2020. It will be reviewed weekly at a Senior Leadership level to reflect school circumstances and any changes in Government guidance.
The document below has been produced as a guide for parents and carers, and reflects all the main actions taken place to enable to safe return of pupils to All Saints from 1st June. The full risk assessment document can be obtained on request.
